Description
The SFP-10G-BXD-80 is a 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) Bi-Directional (BiDi) SFP+ transceiver, designed for single-strand single-mode fiber (SMF) communication over distances up to 80 kilometers. It works in conjunction with an SFP-10G-BXU-80, using a different wavelength for transmission and reception over a single fiber. The “BXD” designates the receive wavelength, complementing the “BXU” transceiver. This technology reduces fiber cable requirements and is commonly used in long-distance telecommunications and data center interconnects.
