The Cisco C9400-LC-48U is an enterprise-grade modular line card built for the Cisco Catalyst 9400 Series chassis, providing 48 RJ-45 ports with 10/100/1000 Mbps speeds and full support for Cisco Universal Power over Ethernet (UPOE). It enables simultaneous data and power delivery over a single Ethernet cable, supporting devices such as IP phones, wireless access points, surveillance cameras, and IoT endpoints.

This line card supports PoE, PoE+, and Cisco UPOE standards, delivering up to 60W per port, making it ideal for high-power devices without requiring additional electrical infrastructure. It operates with Cisco IOS XE (minimum version 16.6.1) and integrates seamlessly into the Catalyst 9400 architecture, benefiting from centralized switching, high throughput, and scalability.
